Welcome to The Extra Good, where you can explore the antique and vintage objects on the sets of your favorite TV shows and movies.
Visual storytelling allows humans to add color, objects, and history. I am an English teacher and a collector of vintage and antique treasures. As someone who was raised spending my mornings at antique fairs, estate sales, and garage sales, I have been steeped in the stories of old things for my entire life.
For me, watching stories on the screen is all about how the set designers bring stories to life visually . When I watch shows such as Bridgerton and Downton Abbey, I live in the stories and love the objects and colors that complete the experience.
